Halloumi Skewers

PREPARATION AND SERVICE 15 mins    4 servings  

  • Thoroughly wash halloumi cheese to remove salt, and chop into 12 large cubes.
  • Per skewer, place 3 cubes of cheese and 3 Chef Ready® Semi Dried Tomato Halves.
  • Use pastry brush to lightly cover the cheese and tomatoes with olive oil before grilling.
  • On a preheated grill, cook all sides of skewers.
  • Finely mince arugula and place on service plate.
  • When grilled, place skewers alongside arugula.
  • On a saucepan, place butter and powdered red pepper, fry for a few minutes.
  • Drizzle the butter sauce over arugula and cheese skewers

    Chef's recommendation:
    Right before service, pour balsamic reduction over minced arugula for added pleasure.
